So I'm doing the John Muir Trail this summer with a couple guys, got our permit! I was wondering if any of you guys have done the whole thing before? I'm currently trying to work out how to leave my drop food supplies along the trail safely, without anyone taking it. I'm thinking of storing it in the bear cans that they have along the trail the whole way, but not sure if I am allowed to really do that/how people won't take it.
