Replying to Another ACL Thread - re-tear?
Hello, I had ACL reconstruction 6.5 months ago (right knee - Hammy graft) I was in the gym 5 days a week and definitely very strong and close to retuning to skiing. The other day in a snow storm I was outside and slipped on ice hidden under the fresh snow. It was a controlled fall but then I found myself sliding down a hill and hitting a tree..... I sprained my foot mildly on the impact (right foot - surgery leg) and think I messed my knee again.. I am hoping for the best but prepared for the worst and extremely scared. So I just want to know - who out there has had ACL surgery twice on the same knee (revision surgery)? I know there a definitely a few but I would just like to hear some stories of people who have come back strong after a failed ACL reconstruction.
