Rotation

So I used snowboard and could throw 3s as easy as putting on socks, but since I've switched back to skiing for the first time in 10 years I can't seem to rotate. My natural spin direction has switched. I can 180 no problem both ways but left side I can only get 270 and right side is like hitting a wall once I get to 180. I can't figure out why I can't get all the way around. Any tips would be beneficial.

lead the rotation with ur head by looking for it and make sure u spin on the right axis

But actually yes, just keep your shoulders square, keep looking around, throw harder, and pop with your knees.

So I shouldn't twist at the shoulders? Cause when I lead with the head my shoulders come around too. I think part of my problem may be I spot my landing too early and stop leading too. Do I just trust that I won't catch an edge and keep looking past?

I meant to keep your axis straight. Yeah, keep looking around and spot your landing, and if it helps use your arms or twist your ankles to bring the last quarter spin around. What size jump is it? I learned on about a 30 footer, and I would recommend that size.

Just throw harder and do an exaggerated arm throw after take off to whip it around, and preload on the lip.

pop hard and turn your whole chest as ur comming off the lip. don't wind up and maybe widen ur stance even tho it looks kinda goofy
