This. All these guys are up there and deserve to be in the discussion. Don't think we can just hand it to Clayton. Although Clayton is insane and would maybe get my vote it's insanely close to call. So many different factors.

So much talent out there nowadays. I mean Keeshlife crew, the Bunch crew and a shitload of crews from north america all kill it. I think it's all about trick/spot choice and filming/editing. There are some standout talents though like Henrik & Phil, Magnus who actually create new stuff and bring skiing to new levels.

I've never seen anybody else do the technical tricks Wally can do with that kind of amazing style he has. TW is my pick.

I think most of the current best have been named, minus a couple (Ahmet dadali for example).

But what about the pioneers and early innovators?

Frank Raymond with the no lip approach and ollieing onto big handrails. Anthony boronowski just because?

Tanner and pep for bringing really smooth effortless style to urban and presses.

Candide was doing wild shit way back and stepping to big urban or "urbanesque" features.

Andreas Hatveit had some insanely technical tricks on handrails years ago and is the kind of guy that had he been in his prime for filming during the urban boom, very well could've been the best.

So many people throwing down heavy off the mountain, hard to say definitively who the best is. Just glad we get to watch everyone.

Let's make an addendum. Who would you most like to drop an urban segment next week?

Bellemare. You know he has at least one more heavy urban part in him. It would just be cool to see him put out a "career" defining part.

If I had a gun to my head to pick a greatest street skier ever? Tom Wallisch I think. Even if I personally enjoy the style or trick selection or whatever of some other people, the guy is pretty well rounded and does some shit that you really wonder if anyone else could do what he just did.

Evan Sigstad is definitely underrated. He probably doesn't get the credit he deserves because he's european, and also he isn't really present on the internet/social media. I'm sure that if he'd release an online part or something, people would notice. It'd be cool to see him in something like Real Ski.

After this year's movie drops, I have called it down to Vila, Casabon, and Wallisch. Vila is just heaviest Urban skier I have ever watched imo (Ahmet is 2nd) and my personal favorite to watch so I would give him the vote.

Walnuts needs no explanation. His consistency and skill is the epitome of skiing for many people. He can do rail tricks that people dream about.

Casabon though. He is the best Urban skier I have ever watched without a doubt. Phil has done tricks that are past my imagination. Casabon may not be the most consistent (I have no knowledge about this), but I do know that when he lands a trick, It is memorable to me more than any other skier. The way he moves and the tricks he does is beyond anything Ive seen on skis, or even beyond what I thought was capable for humans. His edge control is absurd. His balance and understanding of it may never be matched. His approach to skiing is unique and consistent and The tricks he does (different from how Tom does them) are never going to be replicated to the extent that he does them imo.

My all time favorite Urban shot is Casabon nose pressing the dub kink in Oil and Water. I never thought it was possible to do a trick the way he did it and I still cant comprehend how it happened.
