Nordica has killed the Patron and replaced it with a two sheets of titanium over the edges in the newly introduced Enforcer 110.
why is there a trend to kill twin tip fat skis?

SessionIt's basically a patron with a better rocker profile. Nordica is catering to their market.

MrPatrickRyanNow they are going to have the enforcer 93, 100, and 110. Basically its just going to be a more directional Patron with added metal. Its more than likely gonna be less playful but a little bit more of a charger. Think of the 93 and 100 as being more "turny" and rockered versions of the Volkl Kendo and Mantra.
freeskibum82exactly my point. adding metal makes it more of a charger than playful. i picked up the soul rider for this season and love no metal in that. Was thinking of getting the patron next year as a wider version but they got rid of it.
With the change of the badmind to the soul rider 84, i thought they would have just renamed the patron Soul Rider 113.
Profahoben_212Good. The patron wasn't that popular of a ski really..and it needed an update.
Twin powder skis are gunna fade. People are starting to realize that they aren't as good all around as some other designs....and the market is shifting. The twin powder ski is still gunna be a thing...but you can charge harder and get better variable snow performance with a bit of a tail
