warbeast898Don't leave the east coast out of the equation, good market out here for skis and I sometimes can't find the right ski for the job. We get decent pow so about a 95mm to 100mm is probably your best bet, but that's my opinion and what I have seen here. Some people tend to enjoy thinner skis but not me personally. As long as your graphics don't look like Volkl and rossignol, you'll be fine. Make those skis noticeable dude. Keep shredding

RousedWitsI don't know if it is possible but I think it would be sick to have a ski built similar to a water ski or surf board that is built to cut through crud and concrete. I rarely see skis built for shitty conditions, but I deal with a lot of the cascade concrete and Id like to see something that lets me shred off piste on those really crusty days

robbinJAHoodMake some skis that are shorter! They don't have to be much different than the others but as a girl that's 5'2 I don't really enjoy skiing on 178s. A lot of park skis are super long! It'd be good for you to have some variety in heights.

I own 3 other businesses and this is more of a hobby I do with any free time I get most of the handy-work and labor is done by my co-owner Dan. It's not in a "garage" my company is in a warehouse in southwest Ohio. I've been building my own skis for the last 17 years and with my ski buddies for 5 now. Selling my skis and making money is not my main goal my main goal is to just have skis that my friends and family enjoy along with some of the public. If I sell 1 ski in a year to a happy customer that is all that matters in my opinion so I'm not trying to out beat or stand out above the rest cause these skis are custom made and a lot of time and effort goes into one.

Young_patty^ this this this. If you are making skis for the Midwest they gotta have thicc edged since most of the time we're slamming our skis on rails hundreds of times a day.

but standing at 6'6" I have yet to find a park ski that is as long as I'd like

We've been experimenting with these the last 5 years of different skis and came up finally with my favorite the "Midwest Stick". Which is set to release next season. Now I was wondering what is it that you guys want to see in skis I created this company based solely on that there was not a ski out there to fit my needs and the skiing conditions here in the midwest. I was wondering if you guys have any input on this it can be anything you don't like about your skis or what you do like. Let me know your guys input! Shred on!

VinnieFMake a ski that's 186-189 cm, 93-98ish underfoot, camber or a bit of rocker in the tips and tails with camber underfoot, 24-26 m radius, almost symmetrical but not quite, not too stiff, but just stiff enough that the tips won't be bouncing all over the place when you're going mach potato down icy groomers.

Then sell it in Canadian $$.

My ideal do everything east coast ski.
