AuschieHow old are you? I'm guessing you're young if you're that much of a bean pole. Either way at 5' 10" there is probably no reason for you to ski under a 176. Start eating and hitting the gym.
You'll get used to the length quickly. As for the weight, like I said beef up and start doing some squats.
jford21im 15 but im fit and muscular...
AuschieI hear ya. I was the same way at 15. I strongly believe you will like a 176 over anything in the 160 range. I skied on a 169 until college and then got 181s and it was like night and day. Better speed, more stability.
jford21I just don't understand how it could be easier to spin and throw flips with a bigger and therefore heavier ski...

AuschieAlso just to reaffirm. You will be able to spin and throw flips on a longer ski. Do pros need 160s to be able to 450 out of down rails? Hell no. Just off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure Wallisch rides about a 176 and he is something like 5'8".
jford21im a pretty good park rider... im 5' 10" and 120lbs my ski fitter said to buy a 167 (LINE FUTURESPIN) but its really heavy and long... whats the best size for me... I want to be able to spin with easy butter well but have a solid base under foot. Im thinking like a 161
