Replying to Colorado State University ski acess

I was accepted to CSU this year and I'm touring in a couple weeks. CSU is one of my top choices but it's so far from resorts. I'm wondering how people get to the mountains...do they have buses and clubs that carpool? How much they cost? I also have a touring setup so I'm wondering if there is any gnarly backcountry I can get to that's real close. I'm only skiing 2 days a week and honestly it isn't enough. So if any of you have gone to CSU please let me know your experiences with skiing from Fort Collins.
