Reason for full cap? More durable? Cheaper price point?

so will the skis be cheaper than they were this year? the vices on your website are $600. I know you probably cant guarantee anything until everything is in full swing next season. But a cheaper ski would be nice

I can't speak for anyone, and my info could also be incorrect, but american made skis are hard to get cheap if they aren't a price point ski. Which, not a lot of american companies make anyway due to their pride in their brand and all of that ON3P stuff. If a ski is getting made in China, the manufacturing cost is much less than the American cost on labor alone. So most american made park skis are around that price.

Just a visual thing that happened while producing the graphics, they won't have sidewall.

Just to clarify, the full cap is only going on the two park models (Vice and Frank), all other models will have a semicap with sidewall construction similar to the past couple of years.

What happened to the Governor? Which ski do I turn to in your new lineup for that supreme charging sensation the Governor offered? My first guess would be the Bibby or the Deathwish but they're not quite the same as what was said about the ol' Governors. Might have to pick up an older pair then.

Governor is most likely moving towards being a specialty reserve ski. We have some older models left over, they can be found on http://www.skiburger.com
The Tahoe 106 is going to be the closest production model to the Governor in terms of rad steep fast shreddability.
Ive gone through two pairs of vices and I Love the flex but the rocker seems to give up grip on jump takeoffs. Even though the Frankenski is flexier I feel like the triple camber would be better for icier jumps. But im not sure if the flex would make it bad for some bigger jumps.

There's a chance the Franks might do better for you on the jumps, but generally speaking stiffer skis handle better on big booters. They have about the same tip tail rocker, and while the Triple Camber helps with the stability, the Frank is a very flexy ski.

If you are looking for any reviews / additional information on the Tahoe 106 look up the Belafonte from previous years. It's a simple name change between the 16/17 and 17/18 season, everything else is the same.

Aha. Wondering what happened to underworld. Dig the graphic though. Figured the Belefonte turned to the Tahoe once the catalog released and was missing

Yeah this one has intreagued me for a while now since I saw that hint... I'm guessing it's going to be a death wish and ghost train mix of sorts... possibly a ski that rides like a way softer meridian but is still fully rockered?

The Death Train is a custom park ski for myself and another employee here. I'll post up some photos when they're completed but they are not going to be a production ski.

I figured they weren't production, didn't stop me from getting a kick out of the sidecut measurements. On an unrelated note, y'all should come to demo days in Mammoth this season.
