Replying to Calling Out Revision Skis
So I created my profile about 5 minutes ago so I could post this thread, Ill try to keep it concise. I really liked Revision Skis, until I actually ordered a pair; I placed my pre-order for a pair of 2017 skis on August 21st, 2016. At the time the expected shipping date was estimated at mid November, which was reasonable. About two weeks into November, I receive an email concerning product quality from the factory, stating that they "ran into some production issues with out latest run of skis." About 10 days later, another email, "Hope you are doing well... We are promising an updated targeted ship date of the first week of January, but anticipate shipping sooner."
It is now February 4th
I still don't have my skis. Ive been patient for over five months. Now just yesterday I got my first email in about 2 months saying that they only just arrived at the warehouse.
I have not stretched the truth in any way. Other people are concerned that they were scammed, and have been calling and emailing in hopes of refund, without a response. Basically over half of the season has passed and there are many people waiting for their skis that they've paid for several months beforehand. This is the garbage everyone who has ordered is dealing with and I do not think it right or professional on behalf of the company. Who knows if Revision is going to be a thing next year. Cheers.
