troublemaker3meridians have iffy reviews. either you like them or you do not. every one loves the devastators. personally I prefer the more traditional look and feel of the devs. the weight is there for a reason and it makes a difference.
the bibby is moments flagship ski.
the devastator is 4frnts flagship ski.
link80Blister gave the Meridian an iffy review because we sent them one of the first 187s from the production line, we were rushed and it didnt get a proper tune. Once they got it retuned they liked it.
The Meridian is going to be a little quicker edge to edge and a bit more lively than the Devastator. The Devastator has more of a damp and heavier build and is going to be more of a crud buster. Mind you, I have only skied the 194 Devastator.

soupcanIt's definitely between the 181 meridian and a 184 devy. My concerns really are that the devy is to chargy that it's not going to be a ski that's easy to throw around and be goofy with and that meridan isnt going to be any more composed than the bacon in less than prime snow conditions. Skiing the bacons today in crappy conditions they are just so easily deflected and stuff. not that they don't hold an edge good enough on the hard pack but I don't ski much hard pack.

link80The Meridians are WAY more aggressive than the Bacon. The Meridian still rips in crud, just not as damp and heavy as the Devastator.
