eggplantIm pretty sure they both had a 42 and a 46 to make 88, how do they decide who wins?
MaineLandCollabAnyone have any updates on Luca?
eheathHeard around the bottom that he is alright, no details though. Im just hoping his head is all good.
danbrownhow the fuck did they just cut that off with like a minute plus left
BWalmerMy guess is that since it was already going long (pushing sportscenter...real sports fans hate that) and because they got so many more jumps in than they normally would have since Luca was out they decided to end it at time and not let another run go. Bummer...seemed to cause a bunch of confusion all over too, even Woodsy was confused and didn't realize he had won, haha.

SkiBum.Nothing like seeing some dude get knocked out cold/motionless and then have the camera stay on them the entire time
theabortionator2 of the main cam guys drop there cams after that. Kind of a bummer that somebody stayed on him the whole time. Well i guess it makes sense for if he got up, but they didn't need to air the whole thing live. I wasn't watching it but sounds like they were on him the whole time live.
He hit fucking hard.
BWalmerHe scorpioned hard but initially it looked like he was skiing down under his own power (lots of snow got kicked up, so it was hard to tell), but a second after Tom said "It looks like he's unconscious" they cut away from him and stayed wide for a long time. Medical was there before he stopped sliding down the hill. It was scary and confusing, not really sure anyone realized what was happening until it was on camera for a bit longer than comfortable.
a_pla5tic_bagIs there repays of Luca's fall somewhere? And other stuff? I missed like all of it. I saw the winning big air jumps.
theabortionatorI saw it happen just didnt know how the cameras were cutting.
Read somewhere that he was doing alright later on and scans were looking good and hed get released. Scary shit though
K-Dot.Didn't woodsy and henrik have the same score of 88..?
Minggtbh I didn't see the score but if they did have the same combined score they take the highest single score to break the tie.

AuschiePretty sure it was based on other scores after that or something. They briefly mentioned something about their lowest and highest scores being added together to break the tie.
loganimlachWhy does Kai look like Kai in the air, and Wabs on his ride out? Come on man.

theabortionatorIt was great. Women were throwing dubs. Snowboarders throwing quads. Mens skiing always ends with skiers going super deep.
I mean there's always going to be a compromise but if nothing else, it seemed pretty solid based on the contests themselves.
VAPEOREONgetting bunchy is good for your health
MorelHe's just noticing how lame the bunch trend in skiing is. "Style" in skiing is no longer doing a trick as smoothly as you can in your own way. Its figuring out what trend is cool and copying it entirely. It's a bummer and the entire ski world is guilty of it. To each their own I guess oh wait I mean everyone can ski how they... like the bunch.
Afterbang.noI just say mens ski Big Air would have been even wilder with a bigger jump.
Women ski big air, they could have held on the last jump in the slopestyle course, for example.
I mean going that deep ruined several attempts. Also imagine this tricks done with a little more air time. Even if they don't where t throw quads, more style could have been a result. Also Kai Mahler and Bobby Brown would have been able to land clean, and by that get better scores.
Don't saying it was shit, competitions where wild. Just saying the skieres went bigger than the jump allowed them too on several occasions.
