Armada ARV 86 thoughts

im also curious about the flex. i see it as something of a successor to the ar7 since the ar8 is really the pipecleaner in a limited edition style. but then the ARV (like the traditional one, ~96 waist) is a pretty soft ski usually so im wondering if the ARV86 is softer given that it's now presented as part of the ARV lineup.

i would hope that the arv86 is pretty stiff and the arv96 is softer but not as soft as the old ARV (because the traditional ARV being a little soft for my liking is my only gripe about them-- love those skis)

The ARV 86 is just a tad softer than the AR7. Call the AR7 stiffness a 7 and a ARV86 rating 6.

I work at a ski shop in Buffalo NY that carries this years ARV series and last years AR7's. When we're slow I like to play around with the skis!
