im trying super hard to get an internship out west where there is snow still - and if that doesnt happen, i'll just try to get a job out there and still be able to ski

I dont think I'll make it through this summer otherwise.

Yeah, its more of a leisure thing. Its nice to kick back and soak up the rays.

How about inline skating? I picked it up and enjoyed it thoroughly for one summer haha it was fun to learn, but got old real quick. Back flips on concrete.... pass. It was nice to practice sliding rails and it was also how I first learned how to 270 on

I actually tried to pick up roller derby but the cost per month was way too high for me to stay in the league - I could take the skates to the ramps though now that you mention it and be a super aggressive quad skater lol

OP. It's January and I'm pretty sure you are in North America. We're literally right in the middle of winter right now. Spring is really super duper good skiing too. Eventually it will be summer and you can get drunk and fall asleep with your skis on the couch when you are pretending to catch up on all your projects before the season starts.

Work. Try to get to the beach once....even though I live like 5 minute walk from the ocean. I got a canoe last year that I need to do a minor repair on so I am hoping to use that this sumer. My summers are mostly filled with working though.

I try and work all summer to live off ei and my savings through the winter, which worked quite well for 2 years. This summer I would like to build a race car and get back into riding downhill bikes so maybe getting a real job is something I should do as well lol

climbing rocks is just moderately dangerous exercise. freeclimbing is a good adrenaline rush but, at the same time I really wouldn't mind making it to 30 with my spine intact.

this is coming from a guy who's dad was an avoid climber, and has actually done a fair amount of climbing compared to some people on here. Way rather go driving or biking or something. I'm not knocking it, i'm just saying a lot of people really aren't interested in direct sunlight, and working themselves like a dog just to get up a face...

this is a regular occurrence for me. And i think climbers might be the least scary group ive insulted in a while.

Also, tried climbing for about 3 years when I lived with avid climbers. Kinda fun, challenging. Not that intense or exciting. I mountain bike and skate and drive a japanese rice mobile fast around corners. Make my heart race or get out of my face.
