I suck at jumps

At my local mountain the jump ( yes theres only one jump) is pobably the sketchiest jump known to man kind and pops you up super high and has a very flat landing, also being in Pennsylvania 90% its ice. What am i supposed to do i want to try to improve my jump game because my rail game is pretty good. I've never seen anyone flip it.

If you can afford it, going to a summer camp is clutch for an ice coaster. The jumps are soft as shit and nicely built so it's dreamland if you're used to ice.

Past that, go to a place with better jumps.

Past that - work on your pop. It sounds basic, but getting a really good pop on the lip of the jump will do wonders for your jumping. It's the biggest foundational piece you can work on to up your game.

Work on the shit jumps worst case scenario and when you get to something more legit it'll be all the better.

It probably helps when you know the jump is going to pop you up and into a perfect landing. Also helps when most everyone around you is throwing down and stomping on a daily basis.

OP - don't wreck yourself on a sketch feature. That jump sounds like shit

Yo I went to snowflex in Virginia (a dryslope) and their fucking dryslope jump was miles ahead of my sad midwest hill's jumps. I feel you OP.

It really exceeded my expectations, the jump(s) were perfectly shaped and the snowflex material seemed to have a layer of foam between it and the ground, so the landing has some give to it. They also had like 12-15 rails out while I was there. Lift tickets are super cheap as well, it was like 6$/hr or something

true, but i mean its straight annoying how obsessed people are with the term. I straight up heard someone say 'gonna send it over to the bus stop' yesterday. everyhing is sent. its so obnoxious.

What mountain op? I know montage in pa has some real shit jumps but blue usually has decent jumps especially when they build sidewinder, which might be in a while considering this weather. Also Jack Frost has some nice ones and then you could go to boulder on the same pass for their dope park setup

Really though... I learned on shitty jumps. Harness the roots of the sport and go for it.
