ZypherI personally don't like to use FKS and Pivots on my powder setup because if i am to crash, I hate getting snow packed into the turntables and its just a bitch to get back on. I have Axial 120s and Tyrolia Attack 13s on my Gypsys and JJs and love them. The attacks are my favorite bindings to date because they're light as hell and have a super short stack height for better boot to ski interface. I've never had any problems with the bindings and have them on 4 different pairs of skis. The 13 din version is mostly plastic but still hand up to a lot of abuse everywhere in the mountain (trust me). The 16 and 18 din versions introduce metal into the construction and are more comparable to the STH series of bindings in the way that they are virtually bombproof but sacrifice weight for the better durability.
