Someone should make this

Yesterday I was hitting a side hit on this 20 foot jump. I was going up on it, gliding over the knuckle, and going over to the end of the landing. Getting some decent airtime. On the last hit i was flying and there was some kid sitting on the landing. I honestly thought I was going to kill him but he got out of the way in time. Can someone invent some kind of stoplight on the jump and it scans the landing to make sure nobody is sitting there? Like, if there's someone in ththe landing, it gives you a redlight. Clear, green. People often hit the jump and crash on the landing, and People above have no idea that the person is still there.

There was an article a while ago about a park you need to slide a rail to get into. If you cant slide the rail you cant get in.

I see where you're coming from, but the kid new what he was doing. He wasn't a jerry. I watched him go off the the jump but he just crashed and couldn't get off the landing in time. Everyone crashes. That's why something like this needs to be added to parks.

True, but most places dont have the money. Maybe a rounded mirror or live webcams?

Actually not a half bad idea....

Main problem would be if this was a motion sensor and the person was totally KO'd you'd get a green light and kill them.
That sounds like a Lawsuit against someone to me.

Aha that would be so sweet. But imagine if you messed up and had to hike back up while everyone waits

That sounds like it might up the cost substantially... you're going to have to make this independently powered, durable to the elements / cats ramming into it, and cheap because mountains would need a ton of them.

Plus if a park crew has to ask themselves "Do I want 10 new rails or this stoplight thingy" you're going to lose as the first choice every time.

Thats cool, unless you aren't looking to slide rails and only want to hit jumps.
