What is Clayton Vila up to?

Clayton Vila is one of my favorite skiers along with most of the Stept crew. I know most of them are in LA trying to get into the film industry but I am not sure if they are basically taking a break from skiing for a bit.

I just think hes in the prime of his urban skiing career and I was a little disappointed to not seeing something put out this fall.

He is doing something that no one else has ever done; moved to LA to surf and be a "filmmaker".

He is still real gnar gnar in the urban game, but he is going to fall off soon. Way to many kids on the come up that actually like skiing.

He said in an interview that he wanted to film street for the next ten years, but at the same time he moves to california, and according to his instagram, barely skis and hasn't start filming street yet.

He reminds me of Jed Anderson on the snowboarding side. Jed's been putting out some of the best street parts in the last few years, he then moved to Toronto two years ago, filmed a part or two, and now he hasn't touched a snowboard so far this year.

I don't see Clayton lasting much longer skiingwise living in California.
