THEDIRTYBUBBLEYes or no
Jesse_Hmmm, I wouldnt really consider Ontario the "east coast".
I mean it is like the canadian equivalent of the american east coast condition wise. Not much snow, lots of parks ect. Since BC is like the canadian "west coast" and is drowning in snow.
DrailNot sure why you put quotations around "west coast". BC is quite literally located on the west coast.
As for Ontario. I've always looked at it as the "inland sea".

Mr.BishopMeh... Its east of center. Though if we were in a geography course, calling Ontario "East Coast" would be silly... I've come to realize that East Coast in skiing means you live east of anywhere that has legit mountains.
ColaPhotoOntario perfectly represents the "East coast" sort of skiing.. Ice 9/10 days ... and slush 1/10 days
Mr.BishopDon't forget the 0.02% of the total days of the season where you get legit above the ankle pow on top of that ice.
DoledHexThere have been 0 days in the past 2 seasons where there has been anything even close to pow. Fuck Ontario

KenMOf course
It satisfies the 3 main criteria.
- Is it part of North America?
- Is it east of the Rockies?
- Is it icy as all shit?

PeppermillRenoYes its the same thing as Buffalo or Rochester.
And trust me people from Buffalo or Rochester will lose their fucking shit if you refer to them as midwesterners.
skiitsbettershould Canadians from Ontario be allowed to be the biggest dicks when they are resort employees "out west"? Quite the contrast compared to hungover, chill Aussies.
doublecupSo true, Canadians are fucking assholes
Jesse_Not totally true. But the ones who come from out east to work in the west are usually the biggest dicks for some reason.

VinnieFProbably cause most of the ones you've met are from Toronto. Also the ski jock types. Also Québécois who look down on anyone who isn't French quebecer, although that attitude seems to disappear when they leave Quebec.
People from the east of Canada (maritimes) are without a doubt the nicest people in Canada and probably in north America. The general population in Ontario and Quebec are no less nice than BC and Alberta.

ColaPhotoOntario is so east coast that the puddles outside my house right now are deeper than the base at my local ski hill /thread
saskskierSaying Ontario is east coast is like saying Alberta is west coast.
ColaPhotoAlberta is west coast ? They have some of the sickest terrain in the rockies man....
kirbstopperSince when does terrain quality equal geographical location haha. Rockies are dope, but they are considered interior BC. They are atleast 8-10 hour drive from the coastal mountain range.
Profahoben_212Colorado is called the west and it is 17 hours from the coast!

saskskierWest is not the same as west coast. I live in Calgary. Definitely western Canada, but definitely not west coast.
