Salt Lake City/Park City Summer 2017

So I'm headed to the Salt Lake area from July to august of 2017 and was wondering if it'd be better to pay the extra $ to stay right in salt lake or if there's still a lot to do in park city which seems a lot cheaper. Any recommendations of what to do out there during the summer months would be appreciated and possibly rewarded with a beer or two in July 👍🏼

you've got it backwards

SLC is a much cheaper place to live than PC, and a lot hotter in the summer
if you've got the extra cash PC is nicer, you have close access to mtn biking and hiking, and a lot more to do imo

Yea I'm just talking about Airbnb prices, it's like a $400 difference favoring park city in the summer for the six weeks. There's a lot of places renting out a single room but I was looking more for a small condo or apartment.

PC IMO. More of a fun place, mountains are right there for biking, hiking etc. Nicer city in general, still a lot of stuff to do. SLC is like 40 mins? away so if you feel like you need to head over there it isn't to far.

Why are you coming to utah for 6 weeks in the summer? There are 100 other places that are better than utah in the summer haha

Yeah seriously, go to somewhere cool during the summer like Moab, or Sedona.

There was an opportunity to do a pharmacy school rotation at a VA psych center in SLC so we figured it'd be cool to try to travel a little bit. It was only offered during the summer haha

Well you should live in slc then. Id suggest ksl.com or craigslist or even ask around on ns to sublet a room, unless you found an airbnb for less than $400/month. SLC housing is cheap but you'll have to do some searching.
