I'm looking into getting a used pair of skis (want longer ones than i already have but i have to pay tuition so i can't drop a pretty penny on a new pair). I found a two pairs I'm interested in but i can't decide which to get. They are both around the same length and same condition. The one pair is 2014 Atomic Punx and the other is 2015 Atomic Infamous.
This is the description the seller posted. Maybe I could get some input on the price and which I should get. The prices are in CAD:
"Asking $300 for Atomic Punx, and $350 for Atomic Infamous. Punx has some battle wounds, was used for 2 seasons approximately 15-20 days. Bases are in excellent condition, no rail gouges or any real damage. Rossignol FKS binding. Atomic Infamous was used for 1 season, NO PARK, strictly all mountain use. Atomic FFG team edition binding. Selling because I am moving out west and I need to buy powder skis!"
Any input is appreciated.. what experience have people had with these skis and bindings? durability? I'm looking for a ski for both rails and jumps, but that can also rip the rest of the mountain and perform decently still. Which is better for buttering?
