Favorite Type of Ski

Hey guys I am trying to find out a general favorite type of ski you like to ride on. I would also appreciate it if you replied with your favorite ski you have ridden and if you want to, why it is your favorite!

Probably just riding the chairlift because it is a challenge but i get a lot of fun and enjoyment out of riding the chairlift

I started out without my skis to start off but after a little bit of expirence I can finally get on the chairlift with skis but i struggle to get off because the exposed skin on my forehead gets super cold can't figure out why they haven't made a solution to not expose my forehead skin.

if you want to play this game, stiff skis are for pussies who don't have the balance to charge a soft ski that won't forgive them if they get back seat

I don't think there's enough variables in this survey, in 2007 those two choices may of been sufficient. The skis we have to choose from today are much more multidimensional than those two choices. The different sidecuts, rocker profiles and the fact that there is stiff as fuck skis you can charge with that don't exactly have metal in them besides the edges.

Yes, sorry about that, I just wasn't too sure what other variables I could put in without making this a 1000 question survey lol. It generally was soft or stiff, with people that may say well I know I like metal in my skis as well so I will choose that one. The idea was for it to be general to get an overview if people generally like soft or stiff skis better. Thanks for the feedback!

Also everyone I am sorry to say this but I would appreciate it if you all would refrain form cussing each other out and pulling crap on a person that has a different preference about something. Thanks again for the replies though! (just keep em related to answering the question if you will)

I love softer skis for everything, Im a competitive big mountain skier, but i love my K2 Pettitors. Everyone says they are too soft for stomping big stuff, but I love the play. Im weird tho...

A good skier can charge on any ski. Also, theres plenty other things to do than not turn or ski park.

I like a ski with a wider platform. Anything below 100mm underfoot doesn't feel stable to me

Its completely about personal preference, weight, skiing style, and how you ski in general. If you ski race you dont want a soft wide twin tip, if you ski alot of park you dont want a stiff race ski.

just buy some ON3P's and most likely you will be happy.
