I got full tilts a few weeks ago and yes I went to a bootfitter, anyway he put me in 28.5s. They feel pretty good walking around and stuff, but when i start skiing and doing jumps and what not, they begin to bother my shin a little (not shinbang but almost like there is something in the boot poking my shins) but mostly my freakin ankles start killing me. I mean my ankles hurt to the point where at the end of the day im limping....these are still pretty new boots but like what should i do?
Try and go to a boot fitters and get the ankles punched out. I had the same problem but just went to the shop and got my ankles punched out in my boots. My ankles were fine after that.
Do what spat_man said, as well as get a heat mold for the liner. Heat molding the liner is always important to do in my opinion as it always fits your foot no matter what better as it does mold to your foot.
Yes definitely head back to the bootfitter to make sure they heat mold your liners and punch out if necessary. The liners also go through a breaking in period so they should start to feel more comfortable after a bit more use.
