1080's or line chronic's

way different skis! I have both at the momemt. The 1080 soft, the Chronic is much stiffer. The 1080 has a tigher turning radius. The Chronic has a wood core with carbon fiber stringers. The 1080 has a foam core. the Chronic is also a much more duarble ski, with fatter bases and edges. the 1080 comes in 151,161,171,181 and the Chronic comes in 157,167,177. Personally I liked the 1080 better due to the flex and tight arc turning.

the 1080s are tons softer, my chronics are damn stiff. I dunno, ive ridden both, both good skis, but i like the chronics.
Demo both of em, do whatever run u want, then switch skis and do the same run. thats the real way to find out which is better for you.

ive got chronics awsome ski if you knwo what your doing but it depsends what kinda of stuff you lie in a ski and so forth also chronics have a soft top coat so if your worried about chipping watch out but i still love mine to bits
