I drink Porters and Stouts when I'm not being a cheap fuck with my Bud Light so.. yeah, I can, go pour some more of that soup shit down your gullet.

My biggest issue with IPAs is that the local breweries I could go into and order 1 of like 15 different IPAs on their menu... and they'll round out their 20 choices with 2 lagers, a porter, a pilsner, and a stout.

Totally fair. Unless its a west coast IPA (Stone, Ballast Point Sculpin, Lagunitas, Racer 5, etc), I won't touch it. Its gotta have that outrageously hop-heavy flavor with the citrusy zest. All other IPAs are malty horseshit to me. Check out some of those if you can, it's a world of difference.

I live in Bellingham, WA... even the fucking store is 90% IPA and I just can't deal.

I've tried the Stone and it's ok the others I don't think I have ever even seen

As far as IPAs there are 30 mediocre/shit ipas for every great ipa.


I honestly feel it's harder to find good beer sometimes in the more hipstery areas. If it's out of your region and you're talking about beers you haven't already heard of or are looking up it's tough sometimes.

I mean obviously you can get a lot of good beer in those areas, but there are also lot's of mediocre to garbage ipas, stouts, and whatevers there as well.

I do like that now just about every place that sells beer outside of wrong turn, WV you can generally find at least one mildly decent beer option.

The only thing I liked about shitty light beers was that keystone light was $4.25 after tax and bottle for 8 beers. Murica!

While PBR and Coors are select for lifts, you guys should check out this IPA by Crazy Mountain... it was made as a tribute to Shane McConkey and is pretty fuckin' badass. Tastes glorious.
