dylholeHe likes his skis more than me. This took 5 minute to fix
CodquagIt was more then just that little core shot but the skis had many scrapes and gouges in them, since it was my first time using professional grade equipment to fix them it took a bit longer than expected
ZypherIf those skis weren't in working condition, then my rock boards would be considered as destroyed beyond repair... Unless you have over a foot of edge missing from the underfoot or main contact points of your skis, they're perfectly rideable.
Also, sorry to bash on your coreshot repairing skills but 6 hours is alot for a lil chip like that. My buddy handed me a ptex gun at the shop he works at and told me to repair my own shot because he was too busy. After 15-20 mins, the four core shots were dug out, filled, and scraped and my skis were looking brand spanking new. That being said, at least you got it repaired correctly and now they're in tip top working condition.
SofaKingSickjesus what a typical NS thread. OP posts something interesting that he did a great job on and every post is just shit talking. "i wouldve done it in 5 minutes!" suuure you wouldve
Young_pattyA better title would have been: "shops hate him, find out how this skier uses one easy trick to un fuck his skis".
