brett_fisherI wish there would be a lot less jerrys
SkiingBurgularrather have a few jerrys than snowboarders ruining the snow and the jumps
eheathOverall i like the idea tho, keeps the gapers/non park skiers out of danger and teaches uneducated park riders about safety.
SofaKingSicki mean, i agree, but theyre a pain in the ass when you go to a mountain you don't frequent. im the best skier on the planet and i cant enter the park without wasting more time and money on some stupid video?
i get the safety concern but give me a break, skiing any part of the mountain is dangerous. and gapers in the park dont bother me in the slightest
eheathI mean where do you ski? Its a problem at PC, theyre constantly getting in the way of people skiing down the park and every day one almost gets decapitated.

a_burgerpark passes dont stop gapers, my home mountain wachusett has had them for a decade and the gapers just buy them and get in the way anyways. Theoretically the park crew could just kick them out when they do this but 90% of the time they'll never get caught and even when they do there will be more gapers the next day
the only reason to have park passes is to lower liability insurance, but then park crew has to maintain fencing at every trail junction and check passes instead of maintaining features.
JUMIf you live in WA come to Stevens which does not have a park pass and see the difference. I really wish Stevens would start requiring a park pass.
eheathStevens used to have park passes like 6 years ago last time i was there.
skiznutsInstead just build a feature into the park.

CaseyI was riding Snoqualmie s park the other night and I figured once he had seen my pass like 6 times I could just ride through. Nope. They are very thorough with their checking. When I used to know people on park crew they didn't give a shit. I think that's the difference.
eheathBrighton has a park pass for the upper section where there are jumps
Brule.This.
My home mountain, Gore, is in desperate need for park passes, despite how shitty the park is set up. This could help prevent parents from letting their four year-old child stand in the middle of the knuckle in the jump line, and also prevent ski school groups from going in there.
Both of these issues aren't problems during the midweek, but it's something that should be enforced on weekends and holidays. Then again, it's Mount Jore, and nobody gives a fuck about the park there.
theabortionatorInferno. Fucking ghost town. Even the few tourists who wants to ride over the "Big mounds" never seemed to stack up.

SkiingBurgularmy homies and me ski summit snoqualmie and the baked out of their mind, snowboarders running the park always ask to see our park passes. wondering if any other mountains require this.
