1260S VS. AR5

what should i get 164 1260s or 160 ar5s. Its my first twin, is these are not a good choice give me some suggestions

1260's are alot lighter withouth the reactors but with the reactors they are heavy as fuck...i would say get the 1260's with some p12 jibs and u can be doin some bad spins....as for the ar5's they are alittle heavy but with the p12 jibs they arnt bad

Not a fair comparison. You should be looking at the Chronics if you are also considering Ar5's.

actually this year's 1260 is much closer to the AR5's flex than the chronic is. the chronic is super stiff and a lot heavier than the 1260's, which have also been stiffened up for this year. i'd say go wiff the 1260's, cuz they have a similar flex to the armada's but they're by far the lightest of these 3 skis.

They are definitely the lightest, but I don't agree with you on the flex. The chronics are probably stiffer than the AR5 but 1260's are softer and they only get softer as you ride the shit out of them. The big reason that I said it wasn't a fair comparison is because of the difference in dimensions between the AR5 and the 1260.

^ yeah ar5s with any look binding lines are not too good. 1260's are really soft chronics are only a little stiffer then ar5s. get ar5's only if you need them now. otherwise wait until april and get the 06 ar5s.
