I have 2 copies of every song on iTunes, and it totally sucks listening to every song twice in a row. Is there any way I can remove all double copies other than going song by song?

go into my my computer and then my music and click itunes music and then delete all the double albums

Then they will remain in iTunes but just with an exclamation point saying ' I don't know where the hell this song is, sorry.'

I don't use iTunes, I download songs for free and put them on my iPod.

are they just double songs? or are the a different file type. I had 1 of everything as aiff, and 1 of everything in mpeg, so I clicked the *type* heading and it showed all the mpegs separate from the aiffs and I just highlighted em all and deleted like that... I dont know what to do in your case.

just turn on the show duplicate songs thing, hold control and click on each one then press delete it wont take long

Yea thats what i thought but other than his idea i cant think of a better one




Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.
