Critique my video!

That was awesome! One thing I would change is the begging GoPro part. Its sort of unnecessary. I loved the audio and the cinematography was great!

I know this isn't very helpful feedback but I loved it and I enjoyed the lack of music.

Loved the natural audio

Like everyone natural audio was really sick... I also enjoyed the variety of shots put in. A follow cam could have been sick if you figured that out with like a smooth glide cam. Also only other thing is around :40 to around 1:00 I started to get a bit dizzy from the bike flying past like 15x right next to you. Maybe it was just me being weird? But maybe a bit of a variance of shots in there, like you a bit higher up in a tree or something getting the shot from above, or just a film from a bit further out? It was probably just my eyes though haha. Some of my favorite shots though were around 2:00 with the lighting and the open field. Changing the woodsy beginning to the ending more open was a sick transition of location. Did you only use gopro's to shoot? Or what else did you use?

Hey man thanks for the input. Much appreciated. A good portion of this was shot with my glidecam. Its tough to run behind someone who is biking SO FAST. Ha! A cable cam would be awesome one of these days for some longer, smoother follows. It can be tough to get a smooth follow behind a mountain biker without the proper equipment. Its not like skiing where you are going at the same pace as the skier and gliding while on your skis. Running behind a biker on a tight single track is harder to achieve a stable shot.

Ha ya I was assuming so with the follow cam, only way would be like a cable cam or a drone, expensive camera crap haha. I've never been one for Panasonic's but it had some nice quality in the video!!

The audio was cool but it was clipping really bad witch completely ruined the video for me and was quite distracting. Be more careful when setting up your levels. if you are shooting with a canon camera you can get magic lantern to manually set the audio levels and reduce clipping. :)

Right on thanks for the suggestion. I am shooting on a Panasonic, but I just ordered a Tascam 60d mkii recorder so that should definitely reduce clipping in the future.

Dope shots, id loose all the gopro stuff tho

I loved this! Really liked the creativity when the biker was explaining what he was gonna do. And that audio is so crisp and tasty; what mic do you use? Do you edit your audio with some sort of program?

Thanks man! I used the Rode VideoMicro. Really great mic for the price. And everything was done in Premiere Pro

This was sick. I really love all of the cinematic shots. The gopro footy was a little fuzzy if you made that a little more crisp it would be even better that it already is. Nice work I definitely would watch more stuff like this
