Question about boots

I wear a size 27.5 boot I tryed some x waves on in the shop and I found them cheaper at another place but I'd have to order from them. The only thing is the size they have is 27.5 mondo what does mondo mean? Is the size going to be any different?

im pretty sure every ski boot is mondo whatever it means i dont know

^^^im pretty sure mondo is just the sizing that most boots use. for instance a US size 9 1/2 shoe size is equal to a 27.5 mondo boot size. so i think the online should be the same as the store.

if they fit good at one shop, you can order in the exact same size and it'll fit the exact same.

Mondo is just a sizing that boot manufactureres used worldwide like a worldwide standard since diferent countries have diferent sizing
for example your foot equals:
Mondo=27.5
US=9-10
Europe=43-44

or something like that. its just another type of shoesize stnadard for all ski boots worldwide.

Also, this size can vary between manufacturers and models. So just because the Xwave fits at 27.5 does not mean that a Tecnica Icon will fit at 27.5. As long as you are getting the same make and model of boot that you tried on you will be fine.

Mondo is short for Mondopoint which refers to length in cm. But yeah, it will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

you said you wear a size 27.5 boot. that 27.5 is the mondo size so if thats the size of the x wave you tried on than the 27.5's that you order will be what you want.
