kung_powpowI'm on the 5th season of my Drop kicks and still haven't replaced the original rubber heel pieces so I'd say they're pretty damn durable. Why'd you replace them the first time? Shop recommendation? I've had shops say I need to replace my heels after ~25 days but I have ~200 days on another pair and yet the heels are fine
Well to be fair the first replacements were on another pair of dropkicks. It's funny because I hardly ski over 30 days a year.
The first time was my own judgement, but this time I got shop recommendation and I would've ignored it but I was like damn they are pretty worn out. They were saying that the boots would stop fitting in my bindings after a while which sounds about right.. At least they'd get a bit loose.
However I did a lot of walking in my 3 weeks at timberline this summer so maybe I clicked my heels on the ground too much when I walked?
