Filling and drilling binding holes

I'd say if you're gonna remount them yourself, your best option is to move them front or back a little bit and drill 8 new holes. If you insist on using the same holes, then bring them to the shop and see what they will do. It's rare they'll even do it

if they are beater skis I'd just fill the holes with epoxy. On newer skis I'd by some plastic plugs the shops use (they are literally like $5 for hundreds)

Make sure you put wood glue or epoxy in the re-used holes when you put the new bindings on to lubricate and seal them.

Take all bindings off, fill holes with epoxy or glue then use a mallet to plug them, next find your mount point (should be at least 0.5 -1 cm away from existing holes, farther the better) then mark your center/where you want it mounted, adjust your template to your boot, but the arrow on your mark drill the holes (do this with a solid surface under the ski so it has nowhere to go and make sure your jig is correct or you will dimple the ski or drill through it and then your boned) then flip it upside down band out the wood and dust in the holes, fill them with epoxy and then screw in your bindings (make sure they suck down to the ski) and finally adjust dins/forward pressure. It is actually fairly easy.

you forgot to say use duct tape and sheetrock screws...

if they arent super bad you can toss some steel wool in there and then fill it with a bunch of epoxy then put the screws in the wet epoxy/steel wool so that the steel wool takes up the space where the screws cant thread.

if theyre pretty bad you can mix woodglue and sawdust and fill the hole then redrill in the same spot

if theyre fubar then remount forward or back

You can find paper templates online ... or make your own using the current mount pattern. It also helps to put some tape on your drill bit so you don't drill to far into the ski.

I would say remount the skis yourself. its super easy and way less suspect than reusing the old holes.

I've reused holes a few times after wrecking bindings and just filled them with wood glue or epoxy. I did it prob ten years ago and still use the same park skis with no issues.
