I'm a big fan of sugarbush, stowe, and whiteface.

Mt. Snow and Seven Springs come to mind for me. I also enjoy Holiday Valley, although their parks are shit

Mountain Creek is my favorite for park, mainly because its so close but they do have a great set up every year. Killington and Jay Peak for up north

Oak Mtn

Gore - Aka MOAR JORE

West - AKA Waste MTN Trailer Park


Oaks small but a blast and my OG hometown hill. Gore has a shitty park but holds a lot of good memories and is a fun mountain with decent tree skiing. West is kind of ghetto all around but again, holds some good memories.

yeah I have a pass there this year. I wouldn't doubt if they have a 74" base on Hellsgate. That trail is always the first open and the last to close. They are always blowing snow on it. Their snow making is legit af.

On a side note, this is my first year with a pass to Hunter because they got bought out by Peak resorts and the pass is 400 if youre under 29. Also works at Mt. Snow, Wildcat, Big Boulder and a few others in NH. I haven't seen that many mention it though

Word word. I was gonna say. I saw a job on SAM about hunter and the contact email was Elia Hamilton(Runs the freestyle side of Peak Resorts) and I got confused.

I was like WTF? I thought Hunter was rolling solo or at least not peak resorts. Now I see that it just happened.

im going to second this only because if you know where to go this mountain can be super fun and then you can hit up some fast groomers to carve tree to tree on the way to the park.

i havent been to stratton in ages but i remember it being amazing when i was really young

they were known for good parks back then, but ive heard less than stellar things recently. anyone know how their parks are now?

i remember going on a park trail of theirs when i was young that just had countless weird transitions, spines, and lips. most likely it was just sculpted ad hoc from a bunch of snowmaking piles. if i had to bet, that doesnt happen anymore-- this was back around 2000 when parks were far more..irregular.. but god that was cool

From NH so Cannon is an all time favorite and Cranmore is a good time when i want to just cruise and not try too hard.
Killington for VT and Sunday River for ME

Whiteface, Killington, Mount Snow are basically my favorites, but Gore and West have a special place in my heart after growing up skiing both mountains.

For overall terrain, I would have to say Stowe.

But if I'm feeling mostly park, I'll go to Mt. Snow, or if I'm feeling mostly glades I'll go to Jay Peak.

I've only skied Seven Springs, my home mountain, and it's the only place I'd ever want to ski. Funnest place on earth. Nothing beats tow rope laps in santas beard. Also, they're ranked #1 in the east.

This. They have every type of terrain there is and it's all sick. But I'm sure gunna miss the college pass...

But for anyone under age 34 the season pass is the best value without question especially if you like to ski outside the East getting 50% off of mountain collective places. And imagine how good the trees would be if they were allowed to cut glade runs like Jay Peak does. Still bomb when there is enough snow.


Wildcat is my #2 that is a great mountain which sadly is in a National Forest as well more trails and lifts there and it would be amazing. I'd put Cannon at 3.


I hate the lifts at Killy, Jay, Bush, and Sugarloaf so none are favorites.

I love Blue Hills when Boston gets buried every decade or two and you can go wherever. Gunstock Waterville Berkshire East and Cranmore are small hills I really enjoy.

I like Mt Snow and Sunday River for big crowded places both ski well midweek.

Not sure what kinda operation Stratton parks are running right now but from what I have heard it is not so good

its awful. a real shame what has become of "park" at stratton given their history. they literally have 2 jumps no larger than 15' and maybe 5 rails. They have a stupid banked slalom course AND a shitty "boardercross" trail too short and flat for any passing. And dont even ask about the U ditch they call a halfpipe that has 4ft of oververt and the thing is barely 12' tall.

well that part sounds pretty tight but yeah i finally tried stratton again this year, the park was pretty lame and the lift tickets were insane

Maybe they just stopped putting money and effort into it because of the nearby competition in Southern Vermont

Big Boulder is one of my favorites, the lift tickets are super cheap and the parks are really good. I went to Seven Springs at the beginning of the season and I want to go back because I had just started doing park at that point and I feel like I could do so much more now.
