Can I remount my On3P Kartel with the same bindings, but center

Basically I got a pair of Kartel 116 and mounted the Salomon Warden 13 on those -2.5 I think. Now I'm starting to regret that, thinking about center mounting those. Is that possible giving the original drilled holes? Or should I just stick with it?

Just wanna see u guys opinions on this before making a decision or go to the shop.

Is the -2.5 the recommended punch line for Kartel? If so I say stay with it for now. If you ski it and really hate it then change it.
Of the two ON3P skis I've owned, I've never regretted putting at the recommended punch line. Both skied fantastically.

Give it a chance. Unless you notice an extreme difference it isn't that big of a deal, thats probably about where I would mount kartels if I got them in 116, assuming that you plan to ski powder/all mountain

Yeah I live on the West coast so powder/backcountry is what I had in mind, but I feel like it's definitely easier to do tricks on center mounts and that's what I'm progressing toward this year.

2.5cm is not going to make any positive difference.

If you really want to remount them, yes its possible. They will just fill the drill holes and remount. But it'll reduce resale price if you want to get rid of them at some point. And there's only so many times a ski can be drilled and filled.

i definitely do not think that would be worth it. 2.5 cm is one inch. you'll literally be gaining a half inch of tail and losing a half inch of nose. not only is that a pretty negligible difference but the kartel 116s will ski better where the bindings are at now.

why are you regretting where you mounted them?

I have the 106s and I think the recommended like is perfect for the skis. I would highly recommend against center mounting them! It is not going to make tricks any easer, if anything it will make landing them harder!

To answer your question, yes you can move your bindings. 2 1/2 cm will leave enough space between holes. I'm not saying you should do it but, contrary to some responses, IMO moving 2.5 cm can may quite a big difference in the way they ski.

I wouldn't mount 116 Kartels at center unless I skied them strictly for park. -1 is a better option for a wider ski if you plan on skiing a decent amount of park with them. IMO, -2 or -2.5 is the best mount for performance across all aspects of skiing
