Bummer. I was going to say I thought there was a plan to have multiple jumps.
Crazy that they literally didn't have enough snow for a second booter. I mean I know how much snow they take but you know they were struggling with the weather if they couldn't pull that off.
I was stoked because nobody does multi jump contests anymore like the triple jump and stuff. IT's all big air or slope.
Id say in the future this would be cool if it was a normal jump to a fancy jump/hip/reverse hip to a QP. Or just jump to QP. 3 normal jumps in a row would also be boring .

Yeah. But they could push style. Like throw some big tricks but mix in a steezy cork 7 in the middle.
Idk. I feel like they will always go stock on the jumps.
Would be cool to see what these riders would do on a course from 15 years ago with all the weird hips and 1/4s and shit.
I'm watching the Females slope style right now and am thinking how it would be cool if it was more then one jump or different types. It would allow the girls to get more creative since they don't seem to be sending as big and make the men's more interesting with different styles and tricks
They probably have every course designed for this year but I was thinking about what they should have for the jump section and this is just a crappy drawing but it would be tight. First hit is a quarter pipe transfer, then a standard jump, then a hip, and then a quarter pipe at the end.

Stagnant maybe but who was killing it 10 years ago? I hate to say it but womens skiing doesn't leave much of an impression on me sometimes. I got really excited about some french chick last year and then it turned out that it was a dude with a pink helmet.

I refered to vinny's venom grab as a venom grab, then explained that a venom grab is when you grab mute on each ski with each hand.

I misunderstood the new format. I thought there was a jump comp, rail comp and a slopestyle comp then all the scores would be combined. Looking that the schedule, it seems like there is a jump section and a rail section. There is no combined. Does anyone else miss seeing rails and jumps in the same line? Weather aside, this just seems to be lacking.

as far as i know they will be combine as a slopestyle score. So they split up the jump and jib portions but scores get combined in the end.
