I have only used 2014 afterbangs and Sir Francis bacons. After bangs were fucking trash and sir Francis bacons were a decent all around ski.

Over the years I've had 2 pairs of TCs, 2 pairs of Afterbangs, 1 pair of Future Spin, and I'm currently on Chronics.

My first pair of Afterbangs lasted me 3 months, and my second pair had edge cracks and pressure cracks within 10-15 days.

Both pairs of TCs have lasted me a year / 80+ days. It was a super solid jib ski, and I think that if they should've had market that ski as their tough as nails pricepoint ski, instead of the Afterbang. And I didn't have any edge cracks before 60+ days.

The Future Spin wasn't very durable. Edge cracks early on, and the sidewall was delaminating.

So all in all, Line got rid of the Afterbang and the Future Spin, which is a good thing, and it seems like with the Honeybadger, they're trying to succeed where the Afterbang didn't, with doing a tough, fun, light, playful ski.

I'm currently riding Chronics, and they're without a doubt the best ski I've skied from Line. They're light, stable under foot, soft enough in the tips so you can do presses, and they ski well outside the park. I've skied them a little over 10 times, and I've hit urban once, and they're holding up good so far. Sure, I haven't skied them nearly enough to say that they are a durable ski, but so far I think they'll hold up great.

I think that Line's line up is solid right now, as they got rid of the models that had durability issues.

I've got 2014 Sir Francis Bacons right now, and they've seen about 130 days of harder sidecountry skiing kinda stuff. They still look and ski brand new. I've slammed them into tree stumps - and trees - with no serious damage to the base, edges, or sidewalls. Absolutely amazing ski

I used to ski the last generation of invaders and they were pretty good.The afterbangs were a terrible replacement of the invader.

Positives:
- light
- very buttery fun ski
- symmetrical
- good durability

Negative:
- The bases were probably the worst bases I have ever skied on. Not a fan of extruded bases, they were so slow. They were certainly durable though.

afterbangs are not trash. Using them depends alot on yout style of skiing. Afterbanga are a decent ski for park and street. I have used 2014 and 2015 afterbangs.

afterbangs are not trash. Using them depends alot on yout style of skiing. Afterbanga are a decent ski for park and street. I have used 2014 and 2015 afterbangs.

I have chronics right now. Skied them all summer and a little but this winter. I haven't had any problems and actually like them quite a bit. I got them new for under $200 so I really can't complain about anything.

Owned a pair of '11 Masterminds as my first pair of park skis. They were priced pretty cheap and felt like they were. The skis felt like noodles because they had a very soft flex, also the topsheets chipped easily despite having capwall construction.

Thankfully I've heard that the shittier Lines are pretty much discontinued, however I'm also curious to find out about how the Tigersnakes are in terms of durability.

I believe I had the 2010 Line Chronics and I shredded the shit out of those, the ones with the ravens on them. Christ, I'm getting old.
I just picked up the Honey Badgers so we'll see how that goes. I'll have to get back to ya on that one.

I skied last year with the Chronic, they were a really sturdy and playful ski. I definitely would recommend them. Although I've been riding on some J Skis this year, and there is no ski in the world that rides better than the J Ski all play.

i loved riding the future spins. they were a ton of fun but the durability is kinda crappy on them if you wanna ski hard. Id be happy if they lasted 2 seasons but they barely make it through the first season most times

I recently picked up a pair of '16 Blends for a discounted price, and I've only ridden them 4 days so far this season. I've noticed that there is a little bit of chipping on the top sheet and a few nicks here and there in the edges. After 4 days, that definitely tells me that these are not the most durable skis in the world. That being said, so far I absolutely love these skis. They're a ton of fun both in and out of the park, and they're super buttery and playful. This is my first experience on Line Skis so obviously I can't speak for past experiences, but as of right now, my experience with Line Skis has been good.

I dont unserstand how you think they are not durable. I have used afterbangs for 3 seasons and broken 1 pair in that time and that was due to skiing into a rock quite fast and even then the tips held up fine. Im sure that there is a mire durable ski out there but afterbangs are one of the hardest ski to break. Yes afterbangs are heavt but they still suit some peoples skiimg style.

I like my other lines and the afterbangs were fun but definitely not durable

idk maybe the 2nd gen ones op has with the plastic top are better

Thats true butt they are not that easy to break either. Im just saying its not like u hit a few rails and they will snap.

Ive had the same Chronics for 4 years now and theyre still in great shape given I've done some stupid shit on them. They chip a ton on the sides but other than that no complaints.

In all honesty I think the All play is the best ski out there. I haven't had my issues with it, I've been beating them up in the park and in barley covered east coast glades. I also use them on my backyard setup and they show no sign of damage or durability issues. They are very flex ski, very playful all around the mountain. They are lightweight and they have some width to them which is nice.

bro, afterbangs are literally the easiest ski I've broken. i literally landed somewhat back seat off a rail and they snapped. They are made for ski babies that are just learning and want to butter like a pro. I bought them cause i thought they were light and buttery, they're buttery but they are so unbelievably easy to snap.

I bought a pair for this season on a super discount and just used them the othrr day on a pow day. I took 4 runs on them and they are super fun skis. The flex is great, and they ski impressively well. Durability wise, its not there. I dipped a rope to an unskied closed trail with prolly atleast 8-10 inches of pow. I hit a couple rocks moderately hard, but not anything i was worried about. I check my bases and i have 2 coreshots. I love these skkis, but i cant think of a ski ive owned that has gotten a core shot from how hard I hit this rock in deep snow ( for east coast standards). The next day it rained and i skied off piste with the park skis, railing hundreds of rocks twice as hard as the day before on the Js and no significant damage whatsoever. I thought i fucked 2 brand new pairs of skis in two days but props to Liberty for making bomber skis.

My future spin's sidewall just poped out halfway down my ski today so i probably wont buy another pair of lines. They just dont hold up well enough

I brought the mr pollards opus to Japan and they are still skiing strong.. I put 4 winters of ski patrolling on the bacons and absolutely thrashed them. They're still fine. From walking on rocks, hitting rails, running rigs, throwing them around.. They still ski fine. I'm actually pretty impressed with how the bases have held up.







In my experience, and from what I have seen, you get what you pay for. If you pay $400 for some cheap ass park skis, you're going to get cheap ass park skis. All of the EP pro model skis I have owned have had a solid build and held up to a fair amount of abuse. I spent a summer in a ski factory and own alot of different makes / models of skis. I'm not biased at all. I like line skis for what they are made for, a jibby, fun, playful ski. If you weight 220lbs and want to go mach chicken, there are much better skis for that.

If you like to jib your way around the mtn.. they are super fun skis.

Line Prophets were not to bad, as a whole I feel as if Line is more of a ski company for intermediate skiers. So if your looking for a decent intermediate ski, it is not to bad, but if you want them for more advanced skiing, I personally would not bother to much with them.

I use the 16 line supernatural 108s, use them as an everyday patrol ski and have absolutely put these skis through hell and they are holding up incredibly well.

I skied anthems for years and loved them as a jib ski, have used mr. pollards opus from 10/11 to present day as my pow ski, and now I'm on the supernatural 108 as my everyday driver and I love them.

I defy all these people shitting on lines durability and flex to try the supernatural series. They are a really nice charger ski and I'd put them right there next to the blizzard Cochise, and other similar skis.

Imo, the supernatural is a strong argument against this perception that line makes skis for children learning to slide flat boxes.
