Replying to Differences Between 2013 FKS and 2016 FKS

I have a broken part of my brakes on my FKS 140s and was looking at ordering new brakes in, est cost is about $100cad after shipping to my door.
I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any specific differences or if in this case brakes are brakes and the new model brakes will fit my older model brakes. Any help would be appreciated! Called local shops but they didn't know and unfortunately the internet is too broad to find information so specific.
