Dirtyslobztake them to a ski shop lmao
chiefclulIn the post it literally says that the shop won't do it
DirtyslobzWhat skis and what bindings?
ljackstarDid they say why they won't do them? I'd try out a different shop before someone drills a hole through your ski
chiefclulthey couldnt find room to mount them
TamasThen find a different shop to go to... If you're in Denver, then I can't imagine it being difficult to find another one.
chiefclulNah like on the ski
hot.pocketThey couldn't find room on the ski? Like there's too many mount already?
chiefclulYeah but to me it looks like there's only two
chiefclulthey couldnt find room to mount them
DirtyslobzThe mounts either already have 3, or their simply isn't another hole location that would work.
chiefclulYes I know... that's why I'm asking for someone who could do it. I'm not asking why they wouldn't mount them, I need to find someone on the side
DirtyslobzOk but you can't mount a ski more than 3 times, it's shit after that, and if theres no mounting spot for a shop to do it correct why would some random dude be able to mount it correct? Sounds to me like you my friend are fucked, buy new skis
chiefclulI know plenty of guys that have gotten a ski mounted more then 3 times.. it doesnt do shit to the ski and why wouldnt I get the most out of that I can? I just figured the shop found it unsafe to mount it due to the amount of holes so they wouldnt mount it as a liability and someone on the side wouldnt care.. idk maybe youre right though, maybe ill just treat myself to a new pair

DirtyslobzEverytime you drill a ski you weaken it more and more, so if you're skiing hard on it and beating it with 3 holes in it chances are the shits gunna break
DirtyslobzAlso I work at a ski shop, it's $75 for a mount and $50 for a remount so really if the prices are like that for you I'd just get a new ski man
chiefclulaight thanks for the feedback.. ill just toss these on a different pair

KneeDropHow is it more for just a mount vs a remount?
I also work in a shop, and are prices are the other way around(and much cheaper)...on a remount you have the extra work of plugging holes and avoiding holes.
