Salomon suspect 2012. loved the graphic but my god they were made out of steel i beams and the top sheet exploded off of it.

Armada AR5. The edges don't even have a profile to help the epoxy hold them in the ski better. just straight pieces of metal.

Yeah I've only experienced bad things with abangs and masterminds but I've loved my blends which I've beat up for three seasons now and they're still noodlin around great.

Higher-end Line skis hold up amazing.

Surprisingly I haven't had a bad twintip ski in my opinion (K2 Fujatives, Domains, ON3P Kartel 98s, Jeffrey 114s) but i would say my least favorites were the Domains since they were symmetrical which wasnt that fun outside of the park for me. Shame I don't still have those Fujatives to fuck around on...

This. They were my first two park skis that I bought when I was younger and quickly outgrew them. Are they shitty skis? yes. Are they shitty skis for their target consumers?maybe not

People seem to love their blends

Definitely the volkl ones for me. They felt great in untouched pow but felt almost impossible to quickly turn in anything choppy.

2013 Nordica Dead Money's were my worst pair ever. Only had them for one season, and that came with a lot of topsheet chips and sidewall cracks.

lol i loved that ski. i had the 2012 ones that were all poker vegas looking. awesome ski that handled anything i threw at it.

Idk if I had a bad pair or what, but I got a pair of ON3P's after those Nordicas and there was no turning back.

14 afterbangs. Super heavy and it felt like skiing on a 2x4.. Sucks they were my first ski but it was good to learn on something that was heavy and awkward

For durability: Moment Vice. Mine lasted 30 days and they needed multiple repairs. But I really loved the way they rode. Plus they looked cool.

Before that I rode Armada Pipe Cleaners. They were actually pretty good durability-wise but they were really ugly, boring, skis.

For park, yes I'd classify the Chronic & the TW Pro model as their high-end park performance offerings.
But he may even be speaking about Eric Pollard's designs which do ski amazingly well & I would personally put on a higher pedestal than the Chronic etc.. Obviously much more refined than a ski like the Line Mastermind which was pretty much a "tweener" ski.

And for my input I'd say the Surface No Times. I had the Skullcandy collab model in a 182. Basically the only thing those skis had going for them was the fact they were amazingly light. Other than that they felt pretty lifeless flex-wise and snapped after like 30 days. There was a reason they had such terrible reviews during the seasons they were produced.

Surface No Time. They were super light and super stiff. I got them for 40$ used I think, skied them 5 times on my summer setup and sold them. No wonder they were snapping so easily, I've never seen a park ski that stiff. And it was 76 underfoot, it looked like a mogul ski almost.

Thanks for the responses, its just that with my friends experiences, one of them has snapped their future spins. Another friend snapped his chronics 1 year then got them the next then snapped them again. Dont know much about the TW because those are new.

masterminds are a price point/entry level ski but yeah, wasn't a huge fan of their short-lived tenure after my Step-ups died out on me. Decent cheap ski to smash around on, though.


Was not a huge fan of the K2 Extremes. Basically a stiffer public enemy with retro K2 graphics. Topsheets were garbage quality and they felt like lifeless planks of wood. Definitely not the worlds best ode to their freestyle ski lineups back in the day.

Also had a pair of the Nordica superchargers that were miserable to ski now that I think about it.

2009 Line invaders. That was a pretty rough ski to ride. Got a pair of Icelantic da'nollies after and those were sweet.

Some Corupt park skis I had like first year that company. I was broke college kid got a deal. They were garbage.

K2 hellbent first years were poor. Real heavy.

Surface one life, they felt too stiff (this is coming from somebody who rides NFX's and Wall's) and the ski might as well be a 140cm ski considering most of it never comes in contact with the snow unless you're really railing turns. I will say the edge grip was nice tho.

worst design: Faction Chapter 116. Super awkward, didn't really have a place where it excelled, hooky, tip divey, small turn radius but too stiff for playing. the worst.

Similar experience with my Moment Frankenski. They are a super fun ski, looked great, and road well. I'm not a big rail skier but they showed more damage from rails than my Chronics, even though i used them on rails less.

Still would recommend them though
