Boner for full tilts

yzzidis it better to have a high quality boot like full tilts that everyone has or a boot that legitimately fits well. I recently bought the salomon x max 120s over the full tilt first chair 10s. The salomons fit me better but the fact that I just missed out on full tilts is making me trip. Thoughts?

Whatever fits better is the way to go. Full Tilts have so much hype around them but they're just another boot in the larger spectrum of things. I have FT Booters from a few years back and now that I'm looking into another boot, I'm thinking about branching out into another company. Honestly, Full Tilts are fun but it's just another boot so you're not missing out on much.

Full tilt is heavily marketed to 12 year olds. If the fitter put you in the Salomons, I would go with that. I have never had a competent fitter steer me wrong. That is why i'm in a fucking Nordica Double Six (With a 3 strap booster and Intuition Power Wrap...Before you judge). I never even think about my boots, they just do their job.

I wouldn't exactly call fulltilts high quality you can feel the difference in the plastics comparing it to a high end boot from a different company. They also lack a bit of lateral rigidity in comparison to a traditional overlap boot (the only time I really notice it is when I'm on my fat pow skis in crappy snow). They are super comfortable and the best fitting boot I have been in but there are a couple things I wish were changed and they would be perfect.

In my opinion Full tilts are boots that will last a weekend warrior a year that it. But they can be super fun while they last.

Not saying OP should go for full tilts, but I do disagree with that statement. my booters have lasted be three seasons with this being number 4 (or this being 3 i forget haha) and they are still bombproof. I am a 2-4 day a week guy and go pretty abusive with my skis/boots.

Its different for everyone I ski steep icy bumps 6-7 days a week so for me they just were not enough boot.
