So I'm very interested in getting a pair of Soul Riders, I'm 5'10" and around 140 pounds. Only problem is they come in 177 and 185 so I'm in between sizes, I was thinking I'd go with the 185's, but am worried they may be too big to use as a strictly park ski. I'm worried that 177 would be too short since they're rockered. Any suggestions from people who have skied them?
Based on the rocker profile they have, the 177 should be plenty of ski for you.
I'd only bump up to 185 if you prefer having a longer ski.
The rocker in the tips will make the ski feel shorter while cruising around but doesn't take away that much from the length of the ski when you tip the ski over to rail through turns.
