Daymakers Alpine Adaptor

I just put the salomon guardian 13 bindings on my armada jj's and they are logs to ski and was wondering if anybody has tried or heard of the Daymakers? If i were to get the daymakers i would sell my guardian 13's and buy some rossi fks140. Thoughts?

I got a pair of Daymakers, haven't had a chance to try them on snow yet but everything feels really solid.

More expensive, and limited when it comes to what skis you can use. And boots need to be sent in to be drilled. If you don't want to go all the way and get a full touring setup, Daymakers are the best choice out there atm.

Because Alpine Treckers were such a great fucking idea - these, with more moving parts, will be fucking mind blowing.

they seem very solid, well engineered, and would work well, but 6 years too late to see any kind of market for them. they made sense when the only options were dukes/guardians or sketchy tech bindings and touring boots were subpar to dogshit. Now, the boots are just as good as an alpine boot, and the tech bindings are some of the best on the market.

to me, touring in an alpine boot and binding makes no sense anymore its not necessary.

Rock Guardians for the season. See what the feedback is on Daymakers this season. If you really hate the guardians then switch to Daymakers next year if they seem legit.

The Daymakers seem like a better designed trekker. The main advantage of daymakers being turning every ski into a AT ski.
But there was a reason trekkers were daywrekers. Moving metal in cold environment snaps.

I have tossed my opinion around about day wreckers in a few threads this season already ... so there lots of opinions / info on other threads if you can figure out the search function.

The real question you need to answer first, is what are you primarily using your set up for? Touring/slack country/ or inbounds? Are you throwing down hard every day? or just once in awhile?

there are lots of options for upward mobility in the BC. each as pros and cons. each have a place, depending on your useage.

I would only be using them a handful of days during the season for slackcountry, I want to be able to tour but am looking for a binding that i can ski inbounds most of the time. I have the guardians right now, just looking for a better alternative to touring because they are such a beefy binding
