Where should I mount my kartel 108s for this season? I'm getting the 181s and I ski all over the mountain but mainly off groomers and in the trees with an occasional park lap. I want this ski to be more pow centered but also want to be able to hit some rails on them every so often. I was thinking -2.5 from center. Any thoughts?
idk much about the specifics of mount points on kartels but if you have any interest in your skis being good for all mtn, mount them recommended or close. the cons far outweigh the pros of center mounting as soon as you leave the park. if you mount center you make a small gain on rails and switch skiing but sacrifice a lot more in the ski's performance while carving and while in soft snow. unless they recommend a super far back mount like nerds, mount em recommended
hardly even a question in my mind for a 108 waist ski, you clearly are interested in using it out of the park
-2.5 wouldn't be bad. I think that's where my K106s are mounted. Recommended is more stable though. Honestly I'd mount anywhere from -2.5 from center to recommended.
