Chairlift silence.

I need help. so i´m riding a chairlift with some guy, hes not talking to me. I´ve been looking out at the trees for like 10 mins now, but I fear the damage has already been done. how can I prevent this from happening again?



Any advice would be a lifesaver.

Sometimes you're just tired from a long day of skiing and just being quiet and enjoying your surroundings is nice. I wouldn't take it personally if someone isn't in to chatting. If you try and start up a convo and they're not participating just let it be.

Chairlift silence is a travesty. You never know when you're going to miss out on meeting a new riding buddy.

"Hows your day going today?" is a killer one.

"You ski here much? another one.

I have a policy of always trying to start conversations. Its how I met Max Hill many moons ago when he was just a 13 year old kid fresh into the park. I've met many people in the industry this way.
