Replying to Mountains should heavily regulate snowboarding
First let me preface this by saying not all snowboarders are bad.
An inexperienced snowboarder is 10x more dangerous than an inexperienced skier. Snowboarding attracts the worst kinds of people on the mountain. First you have the 25-40 year olds that can't do shit in the park, but they know how to ride fast. But can they control themselves in sticky situations? Nope. To add insult to injury, these types are almost always drunk and have no regard for other riders.
And then you have the highschool kids that come up on Friday night ski trips. Theyre always playing loud music on their jammy packs (and it's almost always rap), bombing hills while out of control, stealing shit frim the lodge, or committing vandalism.
And being on the backside of a snowboarder is terrifying to say the least.
Im sorry but snowboarding attracts people that create an unwholesome environment on the mountain.
