GoPro Hero 4 Session vs GoPro Hero 5 Session

.lenconDoes anyone have experience with these?

Looking to get one for a buddy but I've heard the Hero 4 Sessions are garbage, but not looking to spend $300 on the Hero 5 Session unless it would be worth it.

No experience with either, but the fact that sessions are almost as expensive as the heroes, i would just get a hero. Sessions seem horrible trying to change settings. The size of a session would always make me feel like I had forgotten it.

Both cameras are nice... but the hero 5 session is A LOT nicer. The voice control works great and image stabilization is clutch. The only issue with it is the waterproofing didnt work for me but gopro is replacing it for free so im planning on getting a waterproof housing for the new one when it comes. Oh and the hero 5 session can shoot 4K30 and 2.7K48 whereas the max for the hero 4 session is 1440/48--I think
