Fixing bent poles

So last year my poles got stuck in some pow and bent. Over time, they've become even more bent, to around a 45 degree angle. I don't use them in the park, so its not a big deal. They're standard poles, nothing fancy. Anyone know how to bend them back?

Once they get bent they're severely weakened, you can just use your hands to bend them back but they might break when you bend them back. Poles are disposable and you'll break them over time (like anything else in skiing).

their made of metal they won't melt, just get them warm enough to be malleable then bend it back, make sure to wear oven mitts

just bend em back with your hand if they brake ive seen people put em back together with tape and put a slightly wider metal tube and jam the two pieces together

just bend them back with your hands.

honestly poles are pretty disposable, if i were you i'd just get another pair. My poles get messed up so quickly

You can pretty easily bend them back with your hands but a good amount of the time they will break.

Whacking them on a hard object to unbend them tends to be less likely to break them then unbending them with hands. Whack it right off

i heat them up with a torch and slowly work the metal straight again. and then i cool it rapidly. i took a 90 degree bend in a line pole and its now straight and been using it for 3 years since.
