Replying to Are my skis/binding messed up?

So I was mounting my skis and the tech before me had the torque drill all the way up. I screwed the front bindings in and then went to hand tighten them. As I was hand tightening I realized they were already very tight. The screws also seemed like they would keep turning no matter how much I screwed them. I stopped because I didn't want to further harm them. The binding seems like it's sturdy but I don't know if it truly is. Thoughts?
