Replying to Ford Mustang

I'm 18 and considering buying a 4th generation mustang. I saved about 5k so far for it. The 1999-2004 model is fuckin sick and so are the 94-98 but I feel like thats so old and it'll have a load of problems and I plan on whipping the shit out of the mustang. The 4.6l v8 has about 70 more horsepower than the 3.8l v6 but it gets about 15 mpg whereas the v6 gets around 21. I'd get a stick just cuz they're more fun and the transmission lasts a little longer. Has anyone ever owned a 4th gen mustang and what are some pros and cons? I'd like to hear what you guys think
